Boxee - Movies, TV Shows and Video from the Internet on your TV
WHAT IS BOXEE?
Boxee is the best way to watch movies, TV shows and clips from the Internet on your TV. Basically, you install our free software on an affordable computer, like a Mac Mini or Acer Revo, and connect it to your TV with an HDMI or DVI cord (depending on the computer you use). To navigate Boxee from your couch, you can use an Apple Remote or one of several PC-remotes available.
WHY DOES BOXEE REQUIRE A LOGIN?
Boxee is meant to be social - not just with friends online, but also with people in your household. With this in mind we designed Boxee with multiple user accounts so your friend network, favorite TV shows, and favorite apps would all be accessible only to you. If you want Boxee to log in to your account automatically when it starts, make sure there are no other user accounts and select "remember password" from the login screen.
WHY DO I NEED TO DOWNLOAD BOXEE?
Boxee needs to run on your computer to access your personal media (on your hard drive or home network) and to enable its robust playback capabilities for both normal and HD content.
