BlackBerry Enterprise Server v.5.0, find your SRP number in the BlackBerry Administration Service

You might need to look up a Server Routing Protocol (SRP) number for a number of reasons, including to determine connectivity for BlackBerry® Enterprise Server, confirm a BlackBerry® smartphone user’s routing information, or upgrade to BlackBerry Enterprise Server software v5.0.

If you already have BlackBerry Enterprise Server v.5.0, here’s how to find your SRP number in the BlackBerry Administration Service.

  1. Under Servers and Components, expand BlackBerry Solution Topology.
  2. Expand BlackBerry Domain.
  3. Expand Server View.
  4. Expand the desired BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
  5. Click on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server name.
  6. In the right pane, click on Edit Instance.
  7. In the right pane, under SRP information, the SRP Identifier (ID) can be found (and modified) in the SRP ID field.

If you are running a version of BlackBerry Enterprise Server earlier than 5.0, here are the steps to locate the SRP ID in your organization’s BlackBerry Enterprise Server environment.

BlackBerry® Enterprise Server for Microsoft® Exchange:

  1. Left click on the named server.
  2. In the right pane, select Server Configuration.
  3. In the lower right pane select edit properties.
  4. In the general section on the window that pops up there will be the SRP Identifier.

BlackBerry® Enterprise Server for IBM® Lotus® Domino®:

  1. Open the BlackBerry Server Management console on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
  2. Go to File > Connect and enter the IP Address or the Host name of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
  3. Once the connection has been made, click Tools > License Manager.
  4. In the License Manager, the SRP ID is displayed in the Server UID field (for example, S1234567).

BlackBerry® Enterprise Server for Novell® GroupWise®:

  1. In the BlackBerry Manager, in the left pane, select a server.
  2. On the Server Configuration tab, click Edit Properties.
  3. On the General Tab, the SRP ID is displayed in the Identifier field
