When I'm pinging a hostname the reply comes from the ipv6 address instead of the ipv4 address.

When I'm pinging a hostname the reply comes from the ipv6 address instead of the ipv4 address.

We will need to switch the Pinging from IPv6 to Ping IPv4

ping the name or ip -4

The same goes for ipv6, just add -6
